Used to shock dose swimming pools when opening or closing for the season or fortnightly shock treatment. This is also used as a patio cleaner by many and is very effective as a cleaner. When cleaning be careful as this is a strong product and could damage some surfaces so test in a small area to begin with.

- Adjust the PH of your pool water to 7.2 before adding Sodium Hypochlorite.
- For a routine fortnightly shock treatment add at a rate of 3.5 litres per 45 cubic metres (10,000 gallons) of pool water. For pools suffering from light algae infestation, add at a rate of 8 litre per 45 cubic metres of pool water. For pools with heavily infested algae, add at a rate of 15 litres per 45 cubic metres (10,000 gallons) of pool water.
- For daily treatment add at a rate of 350ml per 45 cubic metres (10,000 gallons). Test pool water and re-apply if chlorine is below 1ppm.
- Add to the pool directly over the return water inlets and leave filter plant running to ensure even distribution.
- The product is very corrosive, always wear adequate protection when handling.
- Wait until the chlorine residual has dropped below 5ppm before swimming.
