Used to shock dose swimming pools when opening or closing for the season. This is also used as a patio cleaner by many and is very effective as a cleaner. When cleaning be careful as this is a strong product and could damage some surfaces so test in a small area to begin with.Â
Commonly used as the following:
- Swimming Pool Shock Dose
- Patio Cleaner

Ideal Levels
Using a test kit, test chlorine and PH regulalry and maintain as below:
- Chlorine 1-3ppm
- PH 7.2-7.6
To ensure at least 1ppm chlorine it is often sensible to provide some ‘buffer’ by aiming for a high level, especially if manually dosing. This chlorine donor is alkaline so readjust PH after application to the ideal range above, to promote bather comofrt, plant protection and effective chemical use.
When manually dosing add this product to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned on, preferably next to water inlets to aid distribution.
