Start-Up Instructions for New Hot Tubs

1. Fill your hot tub with clean, soft water and install filters and any ancillary items as instrcuted by the manufacturer.
2. Adjust water chemistry including your Total Alkalinity to between 40ppm and 120ppm, your PH to between 7.2 and 7.6 and your Free Chlorine or Total Bromine level to 3-5ppm.
3. Add Silk Balance to your hot tub with the jets on full and circulate for 10 minutes.
4. Enjoy the silky, soft, odour-free, balanced hot tub water.

Start-Up Instructions for Previously Used Hot Tubs

1. Use a pipe purge such as Clean Start to clean the plumbing lines in your hot tub. 
2. Refill your hot tub with clean, soft water and install filters and any ancillary items as instrcuted by the manufacturer.
3. Adjust water chemistry including your Total Alkalinity to between 40ppm and 120ppm, your PH to between 7.2 and 7.6 and your Free Chlorine or Total Bromine level to 3-5ppm.
4. Add Silk Balance to your hot tub with the jets on full and circulate for 10 minutes.
5. Enjoy the silky, soft, odour-free, balanced hot tub water. 

Dose Rate

Fill the orange cap on the Silk Balance bottle to the fill line and add once per week, simple!
